European Fitness Association (EFA) to Host Event at Rimini Wellness

The European Fitness Association (EFA) will host an event at Rimini Wellness in Rimini, Italy from May 29 to June 2, 2014.

The European Fitness Association (EFA) has announced a new event which will run from May 29 to June 2, 2014 at Rimini Wellness in Rimini. The European Fitness Association (EFA) is a federation of European organisations, national bodies, and instructors in the fields of fitness, health and wellness. Set up in the European Parliament in Brussels in 2002, the EFA provides an meeting place for European fitness and health industry bodies and professionals through various courses and events. The organisation aims to standardise best international practices in fitness education and to train fitness instructors in line with these standards. The courses are organised by EFA affiliates across Europe and participants are given certificates recognised by the EFA.

The EFA is dedicated to developing a European fitness culture and setting training standards for fitness instructors, personal trainers, functional fitness, pilates, water fitness, musical fitness and aerobics instructors. The association works to get institutional support for various events, to organise conventions at the European level, to promote new trends in fitness and wellness, and to increase and coordinate research in different areas of fitness.
