The Fitness Show Sydney, held from April 28 to 30 at the International Convention Centre Sydney, brought together some of the leading names in the fitness and health industry.

The 2017 Fitness Show Sydney was held at the ICC Sydney in Sydney, Australia from April 28 to 30. The annual trade show presented the latest trends and products in the fitness and health industry and staged a series of events and experiences to inspire and motivate visitors. The show featured seminars, talks, live workouts, cooking demonstrations and fitness classes targeted at individuals with a passion for fitness, active lifestyle, bodybuilding and general health.

The Fitness Show welcomed leading Australian and international athletes, fitness experts and celebrities and covered every aspect of the fitness industry, from yoga, strength training and weight lifting to interval training and crossfit, across three zones: Active, Strength and Industry. The Active Zone offered visitors a chance to discover the latest fitness accessories, technologies, training aids and apparel and to participate in live fitness classes. It also invited them to learn about the latest trends in nutrition and healthy living at a series of live talks and cooking demonstrations.

The Strength Zone offered strength training and bodybuilding enthusiasts an opportunity to explore the latest sports supplements and other products in the sports nutrition segment, and to learn about the latest trends in natural bodybuilding, high performance training, boxing and martial arts. The zone also hosted a series of cross functional training, bodybuilding and powerlifting competitions.

The Industry Zone featured the latest commercial fitness equipment and business services, giving visitors a chance to expand their network of contacts and discover the new trends that their businesses or brands may benefit from in the future. The zone hosted a number of discussions, seminars and live fitness classes during the three days, offering attendees a wealth of new knowledge to integrate into their business models and pass on to their clients. The educational events shed light on a number of key topics, including healthy food trends, hormones and weight loss, weight management for children, global athletic training trends, and integrating technology to boost retention.

The Fitness Show featured the latest products and services from many Australian and global fitness and health industry leaders, including Technogym, Polar, Garmin, Tanita, Life Fitness, MyZone and InBody.

EYE Fitness and Synergy Fitness, two leading Australian fitness companies that have recently merged their businesses to offer an unparalleled level of service, aftercare, maintenance, product innovation and education, had one of their first joint presentations at the trade show and offered visitors free classes throughout the three days. The products featured in their booth also included CSE Entertainment's iWall, the Trixter VR, the Pulse VR treadmill, Nexersys and Multisensory Fitness products. CSE Entertainment presented HyberSlam, a brand new game for the iWall, to Australian audiences.

Body Bike showcased the Body Bike Smart+ and the Body Bike Indoor Cycling App, while Technogym brought the Skillrow rowing machine, the MyRun treadmill, and Skillmill, a fully connected solution for athletic performance training. MyZone presented the MyZone virtual group classes and functional programming, while Life Fitness brought a range of fitness machines, including the Cyber Sparc, Cybex Arc trainer and the Latitude lateral stability trainer.

Fitlight Australia presented its impact and proximity sensor lighting system for speed, agility, coordination and reaction training, and the Indoor Cycling Group showcased its range of indoor cycles and the MyRide VX Group, the world's first app developed to enhance live group cycling classes with forward-motion video.
