Les Mills Immersive Fitness Reinvents Group Fitness Classes

Les Mills Immersive Fitness Reinvents Group Fitness Classes image: LES MILLS

Les Mills' Immersive Fitness is an experience that combines cinema-quality video content projected onto a large screen with music and effective workouts led by instructors. The concept uses proven group fitness classes and enhances them with compelling graphics, prompting participants to react to visual cues instead of counting reps. It allows participants to train in a highly immersive environment, one that offers both a heightened sense of anticipation and reward. Immersive Fitness was introduced in the summer of 2014, when Les Mills and Reebok took it on a tour through six cities across Europe.

Les Mills has since teamed up with leading fitness brands to open permanent Immersive Fitness studios in several locations around the world. The concept is available to gym goers at 24 Hour Fitness in Santa Monica, CMG Sports in Paris, and David Lloyd Leisure club in London. The company will open another studio at a Pure Fitness gym in Hong Kong in April. Watch the video to see the concept in action.
