Hotspot Response is an interactive reaction trainer that makes training sessions more engaging and helps improve athletes' agility, balance, and reaction time.

Hotspot Response is a reaction training system that uses sensors to provide users with an endless number of options for sports and fitness training, and for playing games. The system is designed to train not only the reaction, but also the action that follows. It is a unique device that provides a wide variety of applications. The system itself consists of a base unit and four coloured sensors that correspond to the lights on the base and can be arranged in a number of configurations. An additional fifth spot can be used for jump height testing.

Hotspot Response allows users to train vertical jump and agility movement using a single system. The system is portable and easy to set up. The standard version comes with six spots and offers a versatile range of options for training in all sports. The system lets users replicate real game movements with an endless number of patterns, and can also serve to improve the user's overall fitness level through a number of interactive games.

The system can be used to measure specific parameters of movement, which makes it very useful for athletes and trainers. Most systems designed for reaction training are static and don't require users to move from one position to another, but Hotspot Response stimulates users to not only react to the lights, but also to move from one spot to another on the ground. Users can create a new fitness challenge by simply moving a dot or two. For instance, they can place the coloured spots close together if they want to train their speed or positioning skills, or further apart if they want to improve their movement dynamics.

Hotspot was created by Games Education, a company specialising in developing tools and platforms to help athletes, coaches, and trainers to improve their performance, awareness, and decision making.
