RespondWell Uses Interactive Play to Improve Therapy Adherence and Outcomes

RespondWell is a rehabilitation platform that makes it easy for therapists to prescribe custom routines and at the same time improves outcomes by engaging patients in interactive play.

The rehabilitation routines are delivered to patients through a touchscreen device and are designed to encourage them to stick with the prescribed exercises. The platform improves patients' rehabilitation experience and adherence using entertainment, rewards, and challenges.

RespondWell uses animated virtual therapy to guide patients through exercise, instructing them on proper techniques. It relies on Kinect technology to count repetitions, track patients' performance, and ensure correct form. After each session, the performance data is stored in the cloud, where patients and therapists can easily access it for analysis and reporting.

RespondWell can be used effectively in fall prevention, stroke rehabilitation, disease management, sports rehabilitation, and to improve general wellness. The platform also offers pulmonary, pre-diabetic and senior fitness modules.
