The Augmented Climbing Wall is gaining even more global traction through a new partnership between platform developer Valo Motion and industry leader Entre-Prises.
The Augmented Climbing Wall, the world’s first interactive game platform for climbing walls, is now available with a full turn-key service package in multiple countries around the world. Created by Finnish game developer and hardware manufacturer Valo Motion Oy, the fitness gaming platform offers an exciting immersive experience with several thrilling interactive games that compel climbers to keep playing and improving their strength, balance, agility, endurance and cardiovascular health in the process.
The global service offering for the innovative platform is the result of a new collaboration with Entre-Prises, a leading global manufacturer of custom climbing and bouldering walls, and their Clip 'n Climb brand, which specializes in delivering fun, memorable climbing experiences in a variety of markets. With more than 30 years of experience and a strong international presence in the climbing industry, Entre-Prises brings a complete service offering of standard climbing wall installation and on-site maintenance to complement Valo Motion's revolutionary product.
The two companies share a commitment to developing fun, innovative climbing solutions for adults and children with a special focus on user experience, quality of the products and high standards for the services provided with them. As part of the agreement, the Augmented Climbing Wall is now available with increased local support in France, Spain, Germany, the UK, Benelux, Canada, China and Thailand. The collaboration also adds a specially designed climbing wall in the mix to turn Valo Motion's plug-and-play solution into a full turn-key solution and offer a more complete service package.

The Augmented Climbing Wall is a fully automated system that offers a unique gaming experience for all age groups and fitness levels, combining fun and exercise with social gaming to invite users to experience the future of sports and games. The patent-pending system uses active play technology to offer climbers a hugely entertaining experience while simultaneously engaging them in an intense full-body workout and challenging them to keep improving. The platform also allows climbers to create their own routes using a touchscreen interface and share their workouts on social media.
The Augmented Climbing Wall is suitable for indoor areas of any size and offers hundreds of games and courses even on the smallest of walls. The games available with the Augmented Climbing Wall guarantee a fun experience for climbers of any age. Whack-a-Bat challenges them to splat flying bats as they climb, while Astromania puts their climbing skills to the test as they set out to save the world from blazing fireballs. Sparks requires them to climb their way out of a labyrinth and Climball challenges them in a dynamic two-player gaming experience. Finally, Augmented Problems allows climbers to create, save and share their own routes through a personalized video feedback for dedicated coaching and training.
The new specially designed climbing wall developed by Valo Motion and Entre-Prises is a standard climbing wall designed specifically to deliver the optimal performance for the games and applications. The wall is 3 by 4 meters in size and has a self-supporting structure. It comes with matting, climbing holds and an optional canopy for very bright environments. The wall is easy to erect and can be set up by two people in a single day.
The Augmented Climbing Wall and the brand new climbing wall developed by Entre-Prises will be featured at the upcoming Euro Attractions Show (EAS), which runs from September 26 to 28 at the Messe Berlin exhibition center in Berlin. Visitors can find both products on Stand 25-922.
