SmartGoals Challenges Hockey Players to Improve Their Game

SmartGoals is an interactive training tool that helps hockey players improve multiple aspects of their technique and performance.

SmartGoals is a sophisticated training concept that uses motion sensors and advanced interactive technologies to challenge hockey players to improve a wide range of factors that are critical to success in the game. These include technique, coordination, spatial awareness, divided attention, puck handling and control, communication, speed, agility and other sport-specific skills. Developed by coaches for coaches, the SmartGoals concept consists of small goals that can track scores and uses interactive lights to create new scoring opportunities and challenge players to react quickly while maintaining a good overview of the field.

The system offers a varied range of smart exercises that make training more fun and effective for players at different levels. The exercises include warm-up drills, moves and skills training, fitness and recovery, finishing, and positional games.

Developed by the Dutch company SmartSports B.V., the interactive training concept can also be used in football training, general fitness training and at schools. With a high impact-proof design, the system is built to last, weather-proof, and easy to recharge, store and transport.
