The Zephyr HxM Bluetooth Heart Rate Monitor was recently named one of the top 10 fitness and health accessories for smartphones by Techradar.com.

The Zephyr HxM wearable fitness tracker, designed by Zephyr, a leader in physiological monitoring, can be used with the iPhone 4S, 5, 5C, 5S, the iPad and Android 4.3 using Bluetooth 4.0 Smart. The device combines Zephyr's Smart Fabric, movement sensors, heart rate sensors, and Bluetooth Smart connectivity to provide athletes and fitness enthusiasts with a comfortable, adjustable and accurate piece of fitness technology.

The Zephyr HxM Smart tracks the user's heart rate, heart rate variability, stress, intensity, R-R interval, calories burned, and activity level. Users can wear it on their chest with the included strap to monitor their heart rate, speed, distance travelled, and workout intensity using their smartphone.

The HxM Smart heart monitor was designed using technology developed for the Military Special Forces and NASA. It is waterproof, durable, and contains firmware that can be upgraded over-the-air. The device is supported by a number of popular fitness applications, includign Wahoo Fitness, MapMyRun, iCardio, SportsTracker, Endomondo (iOS only), Armour39, Strava (iOS only), and Runtastic.
