Matti, the interactive gaming mat developed by Creative Therapy, uses games to engage patients in therapeutic exercises.
Matti is an interactive gaming mat developed specifically for use in revalidation therapy. The platform allows therapists to create customized therapeutic exercises to meet the needs of each individual patient and to track patients' performance and get a clear view of their progress. At the same time, it enables patients to perform the prescribed therapeutic exercises from the comfort of their home and to see their improvement over time.
The Matti platform uses a range of interactive games to engage patients in their therapy process by both challenging them with various exercises and different levels of difficulty and keeping them motivated through fun active gameplay. By gamifying the exercises, the platform makes revalidation faster, more effective and more entertaining. With patients performing the exercises at home, therapists get extra time to customize the therapy process for each patient. The platform also makes it easy for them to treat more patients at the same time.
The interactive gaming mat uses a high number of LED lights and pressure sensors, providing therapists with endless customization options and possibilities when they are creating new games. The platform allows therapists to follow up patients, track their results and adapt the difficulty levels to fit each individual patient.
Matti was developed as a co-creation platform. Therapists can use it to create new exercises, share them with others, and learn from their colleagues. The system always keeps them informed about all the new exercises and possibilities that are available to them.
Matti is very easy to use. Patients can simply plug in the mat, select an exercise and the level of difficulty, and start playing their favourite game in the form of an exercise.
