Kinect Sports Rivals to Be Presented at PAX East
Microsoft will present Kinect Sports Rivals at PAX East in Boston in April.
Microsoft will present its latest fitness gaming product, Kinect Sports Rivals, among other Xbox games that will be featured at the upcoming PAX East, which takes place in at the Boston Convention Center in Boston, Massachussets from Friday, April 11 to Sunday, April 13. Attendees can see all the latest Xbox games at booth #524. Kinect Sports Rivals, built for the power of Xbox One, is the next generation of the popular Kinect Sports.
Microsoft will present a number of other titles at the event, including Harmonix's Fantasia: Music Evolved and Titanfall. The company will also host several panels and events to introduce some of the games and features to the visitors.
The company will host the Microsoft Store Xbox Event on Thursday, April 10 at 7 PM at the Natick Mall, where attendees will get a chance to see the first public demonstration of multiplayer mode in Fantasia: Music Evolved and to try out Kinect Sports Rivals. Visitors will also get to play some of the upcoming ID@Xbox games and possibly win prizes. Those interested in attending do not need PAX tickets as the event is open to everyone.
Kinect Sports Rivals for Xbox One includes six sports games which showcase the improved sensing and gesture recognition technologies used by Xbox One. These games are Rock Climbing, Soccer, Tennis, Bowling, Wake Racing, and Target Shooting. Sports Rivals will create an evolving experience for each player as he or she advances through the games, and use a social hub to ensure that the player never runs out of rivals to compete against. Xbox One owners will get a chance to compete against their friends and rivals across the world as they immerse themselves in exciting and challenging environments of competitive sports.
Kinect Sports Rivals will be released on April 8 in North America and on April 11 in Europe.
