Sony has released a new demo video for Move Fitness – PS3, showing some of the cardio and fitness workouts available with the platform.

Sony has posted a new Move Fitness PS3 demo video, which features some of the exercises in fitness and cardio training available to PS3 users. The exercises include lunges, jump squats, cross punching, jumping jacks, circling arms, twists, and shoulder presses.

Move Fitness contains a good selection of fun workouts, and its advanced motion controls make boxing and basketball particularly enjoyable. There are 28 different activities available, and the various workout routines can be tweaked and altered in any way the user wants. The routines are divided based on fitness goals, for instance, "Fat Burner," "Beach Body" and "Strong Shoulders." Training time can be adjusted and users can bring in their personal playlists and favourite tunes to create a soundtrack while they exercise.

Move Fitness has a clean and simple interface and menu layout, making it very easy for the player to use. Sony's virtual gym comes with a personal trainer to guide and motivate users, and to show the correct form that users should strive to mirror. The workouts themselves are easy to get into. Users can share and compare their scores with those of their friends, adding a little bit of competition and challenge into the mix.

The platform requires two PlayStation®Move motion controllers and a PlayStation®Eye camera. The motion controllers are exceptionally accurate, which means that arm exercises are delivered with great precision. The user's performance is tracked with stats, graphs, calorie burn illustrations, and online leaderboards, and all the scores are tallied. Users can check the online leaderboards to see how they compare to others, or they can try to beat their own scores, with bonus markers showing up during any activity to reveal their previous best score.
