eFIGHTING Delivers Innovative Boxing Concept for Full Body Workout

eFIGHTING is one of the many innovative concepts that were showcased at the 2014 FIBO trade fair. The concept offers a full body workout using a boxing ring and a dummy.

eFIGHTING, a brand of the Hamburg-based SSV Sportstudio Verlag und Vertrieb GmbH, is one of the many fitness brands that shone at the 2014 FIBO trade show in Cologne, Germany, in April.

eFIGHTING delivers an innovative fitness concept that combines martial arts with a traditional fitness workout. The new club concept offers endurance, speed, coordination and strength training using boxing rings, 2 by 2 metres in size, and boxing dummies. The dummies used by eFIGHTING are equipped with an advanced software program that provides control over the training session in multiple ways. The dummies also contain 10 sensors which light up in different patterns and must be either punched or kicked with special gloves or shoes to turn the lights off.

eFIGHTING offers more than 220 different workout combinations, designed to train a wide range of motor skills. The concept is very effective and can deliver a fitness workout that tones muscles and burns fat in less than 30 minutes of exercise a day.

The boxing dummy that comes with the system contains complex programs that are used to adjust difficulty levels and control the sensors. The ring allows measurement of progress and outcomes, training session management and documentation, analysis of workout sequences in real time, and evaluation.

eFIGHTING provides users with a fun way to stay fit, to relieve and manage stress, and tone their muscles while simultaneously improving their speed, coordination, and endurance. Training sessions can be tailored to individual users, and the concepts supports both individual training and training in small groups.

Launched in late 2012, eFIGHTING is used in 27 fitness clubs and health facilities in Germany and abroad. By the end of the year, this number will have reached 60.
